How did you come to support Inter Miami?
As a lifelong fúbol fanatic, and having played the sport in college and semi-professionally, I have been following the story of Inter Miami closely. You can say I was a fan from before day one.
How long have you been anticipating the return of MLS to South Florida?
I moved to South Florida about 11 years ago to play fútbol at Nova Southeastern University and thought it was criminal that no top-level futbol was being played here. Big thanks to David Beckham, Jorge Mas, and the rest of the team. I have been waiting for this for a long time and will be at every game I can!
As somebody with a Ukranian background, what does it mean to you to be part of the diverse family this Club represents?
It means everything to me. As Miami is such a diverse city with so many multicultural backgrounds I think it is quite fitting to have the world's game here. As a Ukranian this game runs through my blood and I will be a very active member of the Inter Miami family!
How does it feel to win a signed / worn jersey from the team’s number 10 Rodolfo Pizarro?
I’m honestly in disbelief; I have literally never won anything through luck! My number growing up was 10 and most of my favorite players wore this number. I was at the open training session and was quite impressed with Rodolfo Pizarro.
What are you planning to do with your prize?
My son is seven years old and is a huge fútbol fan just like me. He will for sure be getting this jersey to add as the crown jewel to his impressive collection!
