The episode will also share the perspective of a number of Inter Miami supporters group members. These three groups  – The Siege, the Southern Legion and Vice City 1896 – are officially registered through the Club and serve as the most devoted collections of fans. Members of these groups explained what differentiates them from an average fan, touching on the passion and dedication they have for Inter Miami.

“We’re all fans, but a supporter is a lifestyle,” said Marco Galarza of the Southern Legion.

“When the team calls, we’ll be there. To me, that’s what a supporter is,” added Maria Garcia-Mella of The Siege.

“We keep pressing, we keep chanting, we keep singing, we keep sending those positive vibes to the players, to the coaching staff, even to the owners. We’re here for them,” said Julio Caesar of the Southern Legion. “We’re going to do whatever it takes to make sure this becomes a successful franchise.”

The bond between Inter Miami and its loyal supporters groups has been described as special. The vision of the Club has always been to put its fans at the heart of the organization, a sentiment expressed by Chris Allan, Inter Miami VP of Community Engagement.

“The relationship between the Club and the supporters is I think unlike anything anyone has ever seen before,” said Allan. “Our owners have stated from the very beginning that they want this to be a fan-first, fan-centric Club and I think we follow through on that promise every day.”

The supporters also told the stories of how they became passionate supporters and what the sport means to them.

“Football takes over you, you don’t really control what happens. It’s a part of the culture, it’s a part of what you are,” said Kimani Brown of The Siege.

“Everything that you live is fútbol,” added Galarza. “You get your jersey when you’re very small and you wear your team’s colors and that’s how you are brought into the game and the passion.”

“It’s just in my blood. Fútbol is in our roots, it’s basically embedded in us,” said Pablo Emiliano of Vice City 1896.

While supporters will not be able to attend home matches in the next phase of the season, the Club has unveiled its 2020 Fan Cutout Program allowing its passionate fan base to be well represented and accounted for at Inter Miami CF Stadium. The supporters, however, are optimistically looking forward to the day where they can finally fill their home stadium.

“When a team is winning, you see no atmosphere and no fan base like Miami, but anybody that follows fútbol, or soccer, it’s their sport. It doesn’t matter if their team is winning or not,” said Eric Corey of The Siege. “When people come down here, they’re not going to know what to do because Miami is not just a beautiful place with the most beautiful people and most international community, Miami is a place of pure strength because of the different cultures.”

The first episode of Inside Inter Miami aired on July 1 before the team’s participation in the MLS is Back Tournament and drew praise from journalists. The episode also received significant interest and drew over 1.6 million views.
