Inter Miami is excited to open DRV PNK Stadium for its first full-capacity game in Club history on Saturday, May 29 against D.C. United. Ahead of the match, head coach Phil Neville and players Nicolás Figal and Lewis Morgan expressed how eager they are to welcome a full complement of fans at home.

Neville highlighted that the supporters have given unconditional love and energy toward the team and that Saturday's game will be the perfect time to earn three points at home for them.

“Saturday gives us a real, real special occasion where we could put things right, where we could start building momentum...The stadium in the last three games we’ve had at home, even though they’ve been partially sold out in terms of the 8,000 or 9,000 that we’ve had, the atmosphere has been incredible. And I can only speak on behalf of the players in terms of the importance of the supporters and the fact that Saturday will be a special occasion where this fútbol club will have the whole stadium [at full capacity] for the first time in its history. I think that's an occasion where the players and myself will be really looking forward to, and one where we want to produce a real good performance. So, we are all excited. We know what we have to do. We know the performance that we’ll have to put in,” said Neville.

Figal, like Neville, is excited for Saturday’s game and has been counting the days to see a full complement of fans in the stands at DRV PNK Stadium.

“Without a doubt it is very important for me and I truly believe not only in this team, but in the supporters as well and I think it is beneficial for us because the players can feel the support from the field. Throughout my entire career I have played with fans in stands and I’ve gotten used to it and I enjoy it a lot. I am not going to lie, I have missed having them around. I cannot wait for the game this week. I want to see the fans standing up and see the stadium at full capacity. I am very excited. I want to start the game with a lot of desire and enthusiasm.”

Morgan trusts that the team will focus on overcoming its weaknesses with the help of the Club’s supporters and pay them back with an important win at home.

“Fans have been amazing. Last year when we started and then the start of this year they’ve been amazing. They also traveled all the way to Chicago in numbers and they never let the Club down. So, it’s time for us players to start getting wins at home and thank them for their support,” concluded Morgan.
