Overview

The 2023 Copa De La Familia will be split up into two entities, the eMLS Amateur Cup – Inter Miami CF, and Copa De La Familia. The eMLS Amateur Cup – Inter Miami CF will be held in conjunction with a league-wide initiative to find the best amateur FIFA player in North America. The eMLS Amateur Cup – Inter Miami CF will take place ONLINE on October 1st at 6 p.m. ET; The winner will compete with other winners across the country to be named the eMLS Amateur Cup champion. The winner will earn prizes such as a two (2) free tickets to Inter Miami CF vs. Charlotte FC on Wednesday, October 18th at 8pm, an Inter Miami CF Swag Bag and will earn a seat in the Copa De La Familia, the opportunity to compete against Inter Miami CF player(s). The Copa De La Familia will take place on the field at DRV PNK Stadium on a weekend date to be determined following the conclusion of the 2023 MLS Season. 

Eligibility 

  • Eligibility: Players must be 13 years of age to participate in the tournament
  • Geo Restrictions: Players must be within the official Club marketing radius of an eligible Club to register. 
  • Amateur Eligibility: Players must be amateurs to register and participate in the tournament. An “Amateur” is defined by the following parameters: Not have made it to an EA Broadcast within the past 24 months Not have participated in EA Global Series Qualifiers within the past 24 months Not be signed to an eMLS Club or any formally FIFA recognized club/organization Not ranked within the FIFA Global Series Rankings 

Rules and Structure for eMLS Amateur Cup – Inter Miami CF

  • Tournament will start at 6pm on October 1st
  • 1v1, Single leg match 
  • Best of 1, Single Elimination bracket 
  • Game: EA SPORTS FC 24
  • Platform: Cross play – PS5, XBOX Series X and PC Versions
  • Game mode: Online Friendlies 
  • Squad Type: Inter Miami CF at 90 Overall 

Prizing for eMLS Amateur Cup – Inter Miami

  • The Winner will represent Inter Miami in the eMLS Amateur Cup.
  • 2 (Two) Free Tickets to Inter Miami CF vs. Charlotte FC on Wednesday, October 18th at 8pm 
  • Inter Miami CF Swag Bag

Rules and Structure for Copa De La Familia

  • Date and Time for Copa De La Familia will be finalized at the conclusion of the 2023 MLS Season. 
  • The Event will take place on the pitch at DRV PNK Stadium 
  • The Tournament will put First Team Player(s) playing with the eMLS Amateur Cup participants. The total number of both will be decided at a later date but the eMLS Amateur Cup Winner is guaranteed.
