This week, Inter Miami CF once again collaborated with Scholastic Book Fair to host the second Annual Inter Miami CF Book Fair presented by Gallagher.

For this year’s edition, Inter Miami expanded the program and hosted two Scholastic Book Fairs across Broward County and Miami-Dade County, returning to Oriole Elementary School for a second year and adding Frederick Douglass Elementary School to the program.

First Team players Noah Allen and Harvey Neville were on hand to spend time with the students at each school, making sure that all 640+ kids enrolled at Oriole Elementary School went home with two free books each, and that all 250+ kids enrolled at Frederick Douglass Elementary School went home with three free books each.

The Inter Miami CF Book Fair program started in 2021 as part of the Club’s education platform, shining a light on childhood literacy and the importance of getting books into the hands of kids. The program sees the Club, alongside Gallagher, fund Book Fairs in Title 1 schools where the majority of the students are on free or reduced lunch.

This year the program put over 2,000 books into the hands of kids, ensuring that each child regardless of economic status gets to go home with books of their choice.

As an added bonus of the Book Fair Program, both Oriole Elementary School and Frederick Douglass Elementary School receive “Scholastic Dollars”, which are extra proceeds that go towards supporting each school with supplies, books, and other classroom needs.
