Inter Miami to host LA Galaxy for first-ever match in South Florida;
Single-game pre-sale registration available for the historic match

Inter Miami CF announced today it will play its first-ever home match in Major League Soccer on Saturday, March 14, at 2:30 p.m. ET, against five-time MLS Cup Champions LA Galaxy at the Club’s newly built Fort Lauderdale Stadium.   

“Fútbol is not a sport, it’s a lifestyle. What we are bringing to South Florida on March 14 is a club that unites fans and visitors from all over the world together for the love of the game,” said Jurgen  Mainka, the chief business officer for Inter Miami CF. “This is a historic day that our community has waited for, and we look forward to experiencing it together.”   

Fans can register today for pre-sale access to Inter Miami’s first match in Club history at intermiamicf.com/tickets/home-debut.  The only way fans can guarantee their seat and be part of opening day is by joining the season ticket priority list today.  

The full 2020 MLS schedule will be announced at a later date with every club playing 17 home and 17 away matches for a total of 34 regular season games, in addition to playoff matches and the MLS Cup.   

Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, also known as Inter Miami CF, will play at its new 19,000 seat Fort Lauderdale Stadium for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Located off Commercial Boulevard and I-95, the stadium stands adjacent to the Club’s new 50,000 square foot state of the art training facility and its seven professional fields, which will be the home for the MLS, Youth Academy and USL  League One teams and also host international clubs, tournaments and local high school sports teams.
