How did you come to support Inter Miami while based in London?
I have a house in the nearby Fort Myers where I’ve been many times, so I felt like a Florida team really suited me. Being part of a new movement also really intrigued me.
What is it like being a supporter from abroad?
So far it hasn’t been too difficult as the games weren’t too late. Looking at some of the fixtures which have been postponed due to COVID-19, I’m going to have to prepare for some late nights!
What kind of influence has David Beckham’s presence had on yourself as a UK-based Inter Miami supporter?
Unfortunately, I was too young to see him when he was playing for Manchester United, but his move to LA Galaxy did open my eyes to the American game, so supporting his team just felt right.
How does it feel to win a signed / worn jersey from a European player like Lewis Morgan?
It feels amazing that I’ve won a shirt in general, but it being Morgan’s one does feel that extra bit special.
What are you going to do with your prize?
I still need time to decide what I’ll do, but the most likely option right now is to frame it.
