Inter Miami returns home to take on Orlando City SC at Inter Miami CF Stadium on Saturday afternoon. It will be an electrifying matchup, not only because the team will seek to earn a crucial win to remain in the fight to advance to the playoffs, but also because the team will be able to count on the support of a limited group of Season Ticker Members from the stands.

"We're excited and happy that our fans will be able to accompany us. They will definitely be our 12th man on Saturday,” said manager Diego Alonso.

"This type of match is undoubtedly important, especially for the fans, but more important than a clasico is a final. We're playing a final on Saturday,” he added.

Alonso also spoke about the return of midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro following international duty with the Mexican National Team and the absence of striker Gonzalo Higuaín for this weekend’s game.

“Rodolfo [Pizarro] is available for Saturday. He undoubtedly is an important player for us, we trust him and we have great belief in him. He knows the responsibility that he carries and we believe that he can help us a lot. He was performing at a great level throughout the first couple of matches and we need him to get back to that level so we can be even better.”

“There’s no doubt that Gonzalo [Higuaín’s] absence is important for us, but we have played many games without him and we’ve performed very well. Therefore, we trust the guys that will take his place and we will try to make his absence unnoticeable and help the team perform well,” stated the Uruguayan tactician.

Meanwhile, Inter Miami center back Leandro González Pirez shared his coach’s sentiment regarding having to adapt to face the match without Higuaín and Pizarro’s return.

“I think that the strikers who will take his place can do a great job, so we are very confident in that aspect,” he highlighted.

“Having Rodolfo [Pizarro] back is a great recovery for the team. I think he can give us rhythm and good fútbol, and I hope that he has a really good performance on Saturday and we can get the win,” concluded LGP.
