Inter Miami CF Co-owner David Beckham named to The 25 Greatest presented by AT&T, a selection of the top 25 players in league history as voted on by media members.

Beckham joined the LA Galaxy in 2007, went on to make 115 total MLS appearances including postseason, and registered 18 goals and 48 assists. He helped lead the Galaxy to two MLS Cups (2011, 2012) and two Supporters’ Shields (2010, 2011), was named an MLS All-Star three times (2008, 2011, 2012), named to the MLS Best XI once (2011) and named 2011 MLS Comeback Player of the Year.

Beckham has also played an important role in helping the league continue to grow, beginning with his years with the Galaxy and now by bringing fútbol back to South Florida with Inter Miami; from when he first exercised his option to buy an MLS expansion franchise in 2014, to the announcement that Miami had officially been approved by the league in 2018, and through the Club’s inaugural season in 2020, Beckham has been crucial to making the Inter Miami project a reality.

Beckham was first nominated to The 25 Greatest in early November alongside a select group of standout players, including others with Inter Miami connections.
