Academy Update Graphic

The Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health continues to produce memorable moments as the season progresses. Last weekend, our future stars again scored several standout goals.

Cadriano Marsh, U-14

A gorgeous team goal began with pressing to win the ball in the team’s own half and was capped off with a great display of awareness and field vision. Eliel Estrada directed his first-time, flicked pass forward to Cadriano Marsh, who beat a defender to the ball and struck a low left-footed strike past the keeper and into the back of the net.

Another sharp passing sequence ended with Antone Bossenberry cutting past a defender in the box and finding his teammate Cardiano Marsh with a pass across the face of goal. Marsh again finished calmly, this time slotting the ball inside the near post.

Eliel Estrada, U-14

From the right wing, Sloan Morrison launched a cross into the box for teammate Eliel Estrada between two goals in front of goal. Estrada deftly touched the ball down off his chest and finished the move off with a right-footed strike past the onrushing keeper for the goal.

Another inventive passing sequence resulted in a team goal, capped off as Lukas Robbins’s delivery into the box was deflected and found teammate Eliel Estrada in the box, who redirected the ball into the back of the net.

Wladimir Francis, U-15/U-16

A rapid counter from the team’s own resulted in Daniel Pinter making a strong run down the left wing, beating a defender into the box. Once in the box, Pinter sent a pass across goal to Wladimir Francis at the far post, from where he slipped a shot into the vacated net.

Benjamin Cremaschi, U-17

From the right side of the pitch, Joseph Convers struck a strong, looping cross to teammate Benjamin Cremaschi beyond the far post. Cremaschi then finished the play with a spectacular left-footed volley inside the post and past the keeper for the goal.
