With the new season in full swing for the Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health, the staff has selected two standouts as the Players of the Month for October.
For the older age groups, U-17 player Benjamin Cremanschi was selected as the first honoree of the new campaign.
“It feels good to be selected. I’m just happy to represent this Club,” said Cremanschi. “I just want to keep on winning with my teammates and with my coaches. Hopefully we go to the playoffs and try to win it all.”
For the younger age groups, meanwhile, U-14 player Eliel Estrada was selected as the winner.
“I would like to thank the staff at Inter Miami for selecting me as Academy Player of the Month. I’d also like to thank my teammates for pushing me in training and in games every day. They continuously help me grow as a person on and off the field. It’s truly an honor to represent this badge and this Club,” said Estrada.
The players’ coaches also expressed pride in the efforts of the winners throughout the month, citing the qualities that ultimately earned them the title of Academy Player of the Month.
“We chose Benja [Cremanschi] because I think the way he has been working for the last month has been pretty good. Especially being new to the team and the way he adapted, how he reacts with his teammates is really good. He’s a happy kid,” said U-17 coach Javier Morales. “And he played well throughout the month.”
“Eliel [Estrada] has been setting the standard of competition both in practice and in games. He has been understanding the game better and better and his player behaviors have been improving. That has been reflected in scoring 11 goals and having two assists in the last seven games. I’m really proud of him,” said U-14 coach Pedro Cavalcanti.
