Inter Miami midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro has been called up to the Mexican National Team. The Designated Player will join the squad for a pair of international friendlies at the end of March.
First, Mexico will face Wales on Saturday, March 27 at 4 p.m. ET. in an international friendly at Cardiff City Stadium. Next, El Tri will travel to the Stadion Wiener Neustadt in Wiener Neustadt, Austria for a friendly with Costa Rica on Tuesday, March 30 at 3 p.m. ET.
Pizarro most recently featured in a pair of November matches for Mexico, subbing on in the 83rd minute of the teamâs 3-2 win over South Korea on Nov. 14 at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt, before starting and playing 89 minutes in a 2-0 win over Japan on Nov. 17 at the Merkur Arena in Graz, Austria.
Pizarro will adhere to necessary health and safety protocol upon his return to the Club.
