Inter Miami CF Academy player Daniel Pinter has been called up by the U.S. U-16 MYNT for a training camp. The team led by head coach Michael Nsien is set to train at the Hillsborough County Tournament Complex in Tampa, Fla. through Jan. 13. Pinter will join the camp as it is in progress.

Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2007 are age-eligible for this U-16 MYNT cycle. All 23 players were born in 2007 and are age-eligible for the upcoming Concacaf U-17 Championship in Guatemala.

This will be Pinter’s first youth international call up since joining the Inter Miami Academy. He will join Academy teammate Nicholas Almeida in the camp.

Last year, Pinter thrived with the Academy U-15 team at the club level. He helped lead the group to a spectacular 2022 season as the Inter Miami Academy U-15 side became national champions, claiming the MLS NEXT Cup title.

Pinter is among a growing list of current and former Inter Miami CF Academy players to be called up to a national team, including: Noah Allen, Nicholas Almeida, Tyler Austin, Edison Azcona, Logan Batiste, Israel Boatwright, Benjamin Cremaschi, Justin Ellis, Tyler Hall, Santiago Morales and Felipe Valencia, among others.
