Inter Miami is enjoying a stellar six-game unbeaten streak as the team prepares to take on the New York Red Bulls on Friday, Sep. 16 at DRV PNK Stadium at 7 p.m. ET.

Head coach Phil Neville is relishing the team’s form and believes that as long as the squad continues to seek to improve, the success on the pitch is certain to continue.

“Winning games of fútbol breeds confidence and belief…we just need to keep making sure that we focus on the things we need to keep improving on and if we keep improving on those things then we’ll continue to have the run that we’re doing.”

Midfielder Jay Chapman agrees with Neville, sensing that each victory elevates the team forward both on and off the pitch.

“You’re seeing a team now that has really fallen in love with winning and I think that is a really powerful thing…The team has found that joy in winning and I think that has brought us closer together,” said Chapman.

Neville knows that no matter how a game is going, the squad will have the durability and appropriate mentality to push through and fight for a result.

”Whether we start games or finish games really strong, we know we got the durability and strength to go the full distance. That’s what we got to do in most games from now until the end of the season.”

Additionally, Chapman believes that the players are dedicated to fulfilling Inter Miami’s ambition within MLS.

“Nobody in the locker room is satisfied with where we are. Being Inter Miami, I think we’re a team that needs to be fighting for titles every single year…We’re definitely heading in the right direction but we still have a lot of work to do and the locker room is very focused.”

Neville concludes by sharing that sentiment, as the team’s chemistry is allowing Inter Miami to flourish.

“Now we have a set of players that are playing as a team and becoming a brilliant fútbol team and that is the most important thing,” concluded Neville.
