Inter Miami CF announced today it has loaned Homegrown defender Noah Allen to Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire FC through the conclusion of the 2026 MLS season, with Chicago holding a permanent trade option at the conclusion of the loan.
“I’m thankful to have been a part of Inter Miami and its history, and to have seen the Club grow into what it is today,” said Allen. “I’m just grateful that I was able to be a part of it. To everyone who helped me and for all the memories I made, I’ll cherish them with me forever.”
A product of the Academy and the Club’s all-time appearance leader, Allen leaves the Club having established himself as an important figure in Inter Miami history. Since making his First Team debut in 2022, the defender was a key part of the squads that lifted the Club’s first three major trophies: the 2023 Leagues Cup, 2024 Supporters’ Shield and 2025 MLS Cup.
Allen enjoyed a historic 2025 campaign, earning a place in the Concacaf Champions Cup Best XI and being named the competition’s Best Young Player. That same year, he became the first Academy product to start a match wearing the captain’s armband, and surpassed 100 appearances for Inter Miami. He was also named to the 2025 MLS 22 Under 22 list.
Allen joined Inter Miami CF in 2019 and was part of the Academy’s U-17 side that traveled to South Korea in August of that year, featuring in the first-ever match played by any team in Club history.
In late 2020, Allen made the jump to the professional ranks with Inter Miami CF II, then known as Fort Lauderdale CF. During his first full professional season in 2021, he stood out with his performances, earning USL League One Young Player of the Year honors.
His continued development led to his First Team debut in the 2022 MLS season opener. Shortly afterward, Allen signed a Homegrown contract, becoming the fourth Academy product in Club history to do so.
