The Inter Miami CF Academy announced today that eight new clubs have joined the Partner Club Program. These are: Atletico de Madrid Academia Miami, Boynton Knights FC, Juventus Academy Miami, Weston Select, Miami Sun FC, Athletic Club Miami, Pinecrest SC and Key Biscayne SC. This brings us to a grand total of 32 local South Florida Academies that are now part of the program. They too will participate in the inaugural class of official partner clubs for the 2022-23 season. The clubs will collaborate to further the development of fútbol throughout the region.
As part of the Partner Club Program’s mission to develop fútbol beyond our own club in South Florida, Inter Miami CF has hosted several informational sessions. The sessions are open to all partner club executives, directors, coaches and staff. Academy Director Craig Dalrymple has conducted these program-exclusive education sessions focusing on the Club’s methodology, pathway, and core values. Inter Miami CF II Head Coach Darren Powell and former Inter Miami CF midfielder and current Inter Miami CF II assistant coach Federico HiguaÃn also joined the conversation and provided some invaluable insight to the clubs in attendance.
Additionally, top professionals in the field from around the globe are invited as guest speakers. In the second and most recent sessions, which was held virtually, all partner clubs had the opportunity to participate in a meeting with Sergio Lozano from the department of methodology of historic Spanish side Valencia CF.
