The Inter Miami CF Academy kicked off its 2026-27 campaign this past weekend at the 2026 Copa Naples. Four of the Club’s seven participating teams claimed their respective division titles at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples, Fla.
Here’s a look at the teams’ performances throughout the weekend:
Inter Miami CF Academy U-8 – U8/U9 Division
The U-8s opened the tournament with a perfect group stage, recording three wins in three matches. The team opened play with a commanding 10-3 victory over Naples United FC before earning another decisive win, defeating Fort Myers Athletic 9-1. The U-8s then closed out the group stage with a 4-0 victory over Galacticos Soccer Academy to advance to the championship match.
In a closely contested final, the U-8s fell 6-5 to Galacticos Soccer Academy.
Inter Miami CF Academy U-9 – U8/U9 Gold/Silver Division
The U-9s opened the weekend with a 4-4 draw against Galacticos Soccer Academy, followed by a dominant 13-0 victory over MVP Futbol Club. The team then suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against Fort Lauderdale United FC to close out the group stage.
In the championship match, the U-9s earned their second meeting against Fort Lauderdale United FC, securing a 3-2 victory to claim the division title.
Inter Miami CF Academy U-10 Black – U10 Gold Division
The U-10 Black squad also posted a perfect group stage, recording an 8-0 victory over MVP Futbol Club, a 4-2 win against EJE7 2017 and a 6-0 victory over Azzurri Storm Soccer.
The team advanced to an all-Inter Miami CF Academy championship matchup against the U-10 Pink squad, ultimately finishing as runners-up.
Inter Miami CF Academy U-10 Pink – U10 Gold Division
The U-10 Pink team recorded three wins in the group stage, opening with a 5-2 victory over EJE7 2017 before defeating Azzurri Storm Soccer 6-2 and MVP Futbol Club 12-0.
In the championship match, the U-10 Pink squad defeated the Academy’s U-10 Black team to claim the division title.
Inter Miami CF Academy U-11 – U11 Gold Division
The U-11s opened the tournament with a 9-1 victory over Galacticos Soccer Academy before recording a 1-1 draw against the same opponent. The team closed out the group stage with a 6-0 win over EJE7 2016 to advance to the championship match.
In the final, the U-11s secured the division title with a 3-1 victory over Forge FC.
Inter Miami CF Academy U-12 Black – U12 Gold Division
The U-12 Black squad opened the tournament with a narrow 4-3 defeat against EJE7 2014/15. The team then recorded a 1-1 draw against Galacticos Soccer Academy before closing out the group stage with a 6-0 victory over Silva Select.
Inter Miami CF Academy U-12 Pink – U12 Gold Division
The U-12 Pink side enjoyed a perfect group stage, recording three victories. The team opened with a 7-0 win over Forge FC, followed by an 8-1 victory against MVP Futbol Club and a 6-0 win over T11.
In the championship match, the U-12 Pink squad delivered a hard-fought 1-0 victory over EJE7 2014/15 to claim the division title.
