Inter Miami CF announced today the members of head coach Cristian González’s coaching staff who will join him in leading the Club’s First Team.
González’s coaching staff will be composed of assistant coaches Tomás Costa and Ricardo de Alberto, goalkeeping coach Ignacio Don, physical trainer Damián Hernandez, and video analysts Tomás Anastasi and Erik Marquis.
Below we present the bios of our First Team coaching staff:
Cristian González (Argentina) - Head Coach
Born in Rosario, Argentina, González joins the Club with extensive experience in Argentina’s First Division. He previously managed CA Rosario Central (2020-2022), CA Unión de Santa Fe (2023-2025) and CA Platense (2025).
The 52-year-old made Club history in his first match at the helm of Inter Miami CF, guiding the team to the 2026 Michelob ULTRA Campeones Cup title with a 2-0 victory over LIGA MX side Cruz Azul.
Tomás Costa (Argentina) - Assistant Coach
Born in Rosario in 1985, Costa joins González as one of his assistant coaches after previously working on his staff at Rosario Central and CA Unión de Santa Fe. Costa also enjoyed an accomplished playing career, representing clubs across Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, as well as FC Porto in Portugal and CFR Cluj in Romania.
Ricardo de Alberto (Argentina) - Assistant Coach
Born in Arteaga, Argentina, de Alberto joins González’s staff after previously working alongside him at Rosario Central, CA Unión de Santa Fe and CA Platense. The Argentine joins Inter Miami CF for his first professional coaching experience outside of his native country.
Damián Hernandez (Argentina) - Physical Trainer
Born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1984, Hernandez joins González’s staff as the First Team physical trainer. The Argentine has previously worked at Rosario Central, CA Unión de Santa Fe and CA Platense, and most recently served with Universidad Técnica de Cajamarca in Peru’s First Division.
Ignacio Don (Argentina) - Goalkeeping Coach
Born in Selva, Argentina, Don enjoyed an extensive playing career, representing Paraguay and playing for clubs across Chile and Paraguay, including Huachipato FC, Club Nacional de Asunción, Cerro Porteño and Libertad, among others. He now joins González’s coaching staff as the Club’s goalkeeping coach.
Tomás Anastasi (Argentina) - Video Analyst
Anastasi joins González once again as a video analyst after previously working alongside the Argentine manager at Rosario Central from 2019 through 2024. The 27-year-old later worked at Racing Club from 2024 to 2025 before most recently joining Uruguayan side Montevideo City Torque in 2026.
Erik Marquis (Venezuela) - Video Analyst
Marquis remains as video analyst for Inter Miami for a third consecutive year. He initially joined the Club in 2023 as part of the Club's MLS NEXT Pro affiliate team Inter Miami CF II. Marquis’ coaching path includes years of coaching experience in MLS, serving as the Performance Analyst of the LA Galaxy (2020-2021) and Atlanta United FC (2021-2022).
