Inter Miami CF today announced year-end roster decisions ahead of the 2021 Major League Soccer (MLS) season. In addition to 17 players already under contract, one player option was exercised, eight player options were declined and four players are out of contract. Conversations regarding the return of certain players, including defender Andrés Reyes, are ongoing.
Below is a breakdown of Inter Miami’s roster decisions.

Defender Jairo Quinteros will spend the remainder of 2020 on loan with the Bolivian First Division side Club Bolivar.

Announcing roster decisions is the first step in the 2021 roster-building process as the MLS offseason officially begins on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 9 a.m. with the Half-Day Trade Window. The MLS Expansion Draft for newcomers Austin FC is set for Tuesday, Dec. 15, while the End-of-Year Waivers and MLS Free Agency open on Wednesday, Dec. 16. MLS will announce the lists of players eligible for these postseason roster mechanisms in advance.
