Today, Inter Miami CF and Cervecería La Tropical announced a partnership to unveil a co-branded limited edition Inter Miami CF and La Tropical themed beer can. The Inter Miami CF can holds La Original, Ámbar Lager, the brewery’s most popular beer, a refreshing Vienna Style Ámbar Lager with underlying notes of honey perfectly balanced with noble hops for a very clean finish.
Cervecería La Tropical was established in Havana, Cuba on July 21, 1888, making it the country’s oldest brewery. The company continued to grow and expand over the ensuing decades, becoming Cuba’s largest producer of beer and a world-renowned brand before the Cuban revolution nationalized it in 1960. After a process of over two decades, the brand was brought back to life, finding a new home in Miami and eventually opening the doors to its Wynwood brewery in 2021.
La Tropical, like Inter Miami, shares a belief in the Freedom to Dream. The company states that its revival is “a testament to perseverance, passion, hard work and the belief that all is possible if you dare to make your dreams come true.”
The limited edition Inter Miami and La Tropical, La Original Ámbar Lager themed beer can will first be available at more than 100 Publix locations in South Florida beginning tomorrow, September 1, as well as other retailers such as Total Wine, Winn Dixie, ABC Wine & Spirits, Milam’s and others while supplies last. The Inter Miami CF themed beer can debuts tonight at an invite-only watch party event at Cervecería La Tropical (42 NE 25th Street, Wynwood) for Wednesday night’s exciting Eastern Conference road-clash between Inter Miami CF and the Columbus Crew.
Inter Miami will face the Columbus Crew at Lower.com Field on Wednesday for a pivotal match in the race for the playoffs. Both teams will enter the match with 36 points, with both also sitting above the playoff line; Inter Miami is currently in sixth place while Columbus is in seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.Wednesday will see Inter Miami and the Columbus Crew meet for the third time in club history, with series currently split at one win apiece.
At the event, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle to win official club merchandise and interact with Inter Miami CF broadcast talent and listen to a live performance from Domino Saints. The Inter Miami Radio Pregame Show will be broadcast live from the event with Joe Malfa and Thomas Rongen addressing the fans in-person and over the airways. Miami personalities Fernando Fiore and Lindsay Casinelli will also be in attendance to host the event. At halftime of the match, invited guests including a mix of supporters, Season Ticket Members and partners will witness a special, live performance from Puerto Rican urban pop duo, Domino Saints.
