Inter Miami CF Foundation is bringing our community together to support Colombia following the devastating earthquakes impacting communities across the country. The Colombian community represents a significant part of Inter Miami’s fanbase, both locally in South Florida and across Colombia, making the opportunity to support those affected by the earthquakes especially meaningful to the Club and its broader community.
Join our Inter Miami CF Academy clinic on September 18 at 5:30 p.m. ET at the Florida Blue Training Center, featuring Inter Miami CF First Team Colombian-American player Alex Shaw. The registration fee is $100 and gives participants access to the clinic, a shirt, and entry to our Inter Miami CF Academy’s U17 and U20 matches. Inter Miami is donating fields, coaches, and shirts for the clinic to ensure all participant registration fees and donations will be provided to Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) to go towards supporting earthquake relief efforts in Colombia, building on Inter Miami CF’s previous collaboration to provide aid to communities affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.
The Club will also serve as a donation drop-off site for GEM beginning at a time to be announced on Inter Miami CF Foundation’s Instagram. Fans who bring a donation will have the opportunity to attend the Inter Miami CF Academy’s U17 and U20 matches.
For Inter Miami, the initiative reflects the power of fútbol to bring people together and create meaningful impact. As a Club with a passionate Colombian fanbase, Inter Miami is leveraging its Foundation, Academy, and community to help direct resources to those who need them most.
