In addition, Inter Miami's Annual Toy Drive Presented by XBTO Delivers 700+ Toys to Underserved Kids in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, Spreading the Holiday Spirit

Tuesday was a vibrant tapestry of community spirit and holiday cheer, as the Inter Miami CF Foundation alongside Club partners Fracht and Publix came together for a very special community event: the inaugural Holiday Food Distribution, in collaboration with Feeding South Florida. The food drive occurred at the future location of Miami Freedom Park, marking the first-ever event the Club organized in their future home, adding an extra layer of significance to the event.

Volunteers from Inter Miami, Fracht, XBTO and Lemartec united forces, diligently packing and distributing food, extending support to 300 low-income families in the Grapeland vicinity, ensuring their pantries were stocked ahead of the holiday season. Adding to the team work all for a good cause were Inter Miami's First Team players Ian Fray and Edison Azcona, as well as Academy players Luciano Pena, Steven Sánchez, and Lesther García along with Academy Coach Chris Nurse, who all lended their hands to ensure every family received their food. Also participating in the community event were City of Miami District 1's recently appointed Commissioner Miguel Angel Gabela, along with his team, and Miami-Dade County District 6 Commissioner Kevin Cabrera and his staff.

“By organizing this food drive and giving back to the community, we're putting into action our Club’s core pillar of harnessing the power of fútbol to do good. Growing up I went to public school, so I knew a lot of people who didn’t know where their next meal was coming from either and giving back to the people is important to me”, said Inter Miami defender Ian Fray during the event.

During the holiday season, food insecurity heightens as schools close for break, leaving many children without their dependable free school meals. To provide relief, the Inter Miami CF Foundation and Fracht donated to acquire non-perishable foods, aiming to alleviate this strain and serving over 300 families.

In addition to the Holiday Food Drive, earlier in the week, Inter Miami also finalized their Annual Toy Drive presented by XBTO and distributed over 700 toys to underserved children across Broward County and Miami-Dade County. Volunteers from XBTO and Fracht came together to sort and pack all the toys prior to distribution, making sure the holiday spirit was brought into as many homes as possible.
