Ahead of Saturday's Leagues Cup matchup, Inter Miami CF Foundation and Rayados de Monterrey came together off the pitch to make a meaningful impact in the South Florida community, hosting a special event at Nu Stadium in partnership with Fundación Dr. Simi.
The initiative welcomed 22 children from the Florida City Razorbacks Academy, an organization that promotes youth participation in sports by providing opportunities for children from underserved communities.
The group enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Nu Stadium, offering a unique look inside the home of Inter Miami CF before taking part in fútbol activities and drills on the Baptist Health Community Field. Throughout the morning, the children also had the opportunity to interact with the Rayados de Monterrey mascot, Monty, and the beloved Dr. Simi, creating lasting memories through a shared celebration of sport and community.
The event reflected the shared commitment of Inter Miami CF Foundation, Rayados de Monterrey, and Fundación Dr. Simi to creating positive opportunities for young people and using fútbol as a platform to inspire the next generation. As Inter Miami CF and Rayados de Monterrey prepare to meet on the field in Leagues Cup, the organizations demonstrated that competition can be accompanied by collaboration when it comes to giving back to the community.
