Inter Miami CF II announced today that it has signed Academy product Bryan Destin to a professional MLS NEXT Pro contract ahead of the 2023 season.

“We’re very happy to see Bryan take this big step in his career,” said Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson. “Bryan is a talented young player who has worked hard on and off the field to get to this point and we’re excited to help him continue to grow.”

Destin, 17, made his professional debut with Inter Miami CF II in MLS NEXT Pro in 2022. The young Haitian forward made four appearances for the team, all as a substitute, last season while on an amateur contract.

Destin also featured for the Academy U-17 team in 2022, helping lead it to the semifinals for the Generations adidas Cup last April. He was a standout at the tournament, even earning Player of the Day honors with a brace against Atlanta United along the way.

The young forward has also featured for Haiti at the youth international levels. Notably, Destin was the youngest player at the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship, then just 16 years old, where he came on as a substitute in the team’s first group stage match on June 19, notching a 90th minute equalizer to tie 4-4 against Trinidad & Tobago. Overall, he started three out of Haiti’s four matches in the competition. Destin also helped Haiti make it out of the 2023 Concacaf U-17 Championship group stage; he was part of Haiti’s starting XI in three of the team’s four matches throughout the competition
