Inter Miami CF II Signs Tyler Hall to Professional Contract

Inter Miami CF II announced today that it has signed Academy product and U.S. U-17 MYNT captain Tyler Hall to a professional MLS NEXT Pro contract ahead of the 2023 season.

“Tyler is a bright young talent and we’re excited to see him reach this milestone of signing as a professional,” said Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson. “He’s a natural leader who has made great strides so far in his young career and we’re looking forward to helping along his journey.”

Hall, 17, was one of nine Academy products to make their professional debuts with Inter Miami CF II in the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro regular season. In all, the defender made nine appearances for the team II in 2022, six of them starts, including starting the team's first match of the season, a 2-0 win over Columbus Crew 2 in which he became the youngest starter in the league in its first week, then only 16 years old.

Hall also featured for Inter Miami’s Academy U-17s in 2022. He was a key contributor for the age group during its successful campaign, including at the 2022 Generation adidas Cup, contributing to the team’s run to the semifinals.

On the international stage, Hall has been a consistent contributor for the U.S. youth international teams. Notably, he has been a mainstay as captain of the U.S. U-17 MYNT, most recently featuring and captaining the side throughout the 2023 Concacaf U-17 Championship. In all, he started and in five of the team’s seven matches in the competition in Guatemala, playing the full 90 minutes in four. In 2022, the defender was part of the U.S. U-17 squad that competed at the Ježek Cup held in the Czech Republic, in which he started and captained the side in two of the team’s three matches in the tournament.
