Inter Miami CF announced today that it has signed Brazilian winger Riquelme Fillipi from Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side SE Palmeiras through the conclusion of the 2029-30 Major League Soccer (MLS) season, with an extension option for the 2030-31 season. The talented young forward, who will occupy a U22 Initiative slot, joins the Club pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.

Fillipi, 19, arrives in South Florida following his time with Palmeiras, where he continued his development through the club’s youth system before earning opportunities with the First Team. Throughout his time with Palmeiras’ U-20 side, the right-footed winger made 80 appearances, recording 30 goals and four assists. He has also featured in 11 matches for the Palmeiras First Team across competitions, including Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Campeonato Paulista, Copa do Brasil, and Copa Libertadores U-20, where he led the competition’s scoring charts in the 2025 edition with four goals.

A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Fillipi began his development with local clubs Nacional Atlético Clube and Ibrachina FC before joining Palmeiras’ Academy at the U-15 level in 2021. His continued progression through the club’s youth ranks led to his professional debut with Palmeiras in 2025.

On the international stage, Fillipi was an important member of Brazil’s U-17 squad that won the 2023 South American U-17 Championship, contributing two goals and three assists during the tournament. Later that year, he represented Brazil at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, helping the team reach the quarterfinals.

Now, Fillipi joins Inter Miami CF following his most recent stint in Brazil, bringing his offensive dynamism and flair. The Brazilian forward is set to reinforce the Club’s attack and will remain under contract through the 2029-30 campaign.
