The June FIFA international window saw several Inter Miami CF players represent the club abroad with their national teams in Concacaf Nations League, UEFA Nations League and international friendlies. Here’s a look at how our players performed.

DeAndre Yedlin

Yedlin received the start for the United States Men’s National Team against Uruguay in an international friendly match on June 5, playing 62 minutes and making an important early game goal line clearance to help preserve the 0-0 draw, and was an unused substitute in the team’s subsequent Concacaf Nations League matches. The USMNT will compete in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 starting in November.

Robert Taylor

Taylor made two UEFA Nations League appearances for Finland during the international break. The versatile midfielder/attacker registered 29 minutes against Bosnia and Herzegovina in a 1-1 draw on June 4 and subsequently played nine minutes in a second meeting between the nations on June 14, which finished with a 3-2 victory for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Finland will continue Nations League play in September.

Damion Lowe

Lowe registered three starts for the Jamaican National Team in Concacaf Nations League action. First, he started in an away 1-1 against Suriname on June 4. Lowe was then named the captain for a second match against Suriname on June 7, leading the Reggae Boyz to a 3-1 victory on home soil. In Jamaica’s third and last fixture during the June international window, the Inter Miami center back once again was in the starting lineup as the team earned a 1-1 draw against Mexico at home.

Leonardo Campana

Campana received his first international start for Ecuador’s senior side in a 1-0 winning effort against Nigeria in an international friendly on June 2, playing 60 minutes. Campana then registered another appearance in an international friendly match against Cape Verde in familiar territory, playing 29 minutes at DRV PNK Stadium to help the team secure the 1-0 victory. Campana and his La Tri teammates are set to play a friendly against Saudi Arabia in September before competing in the World Cup in November.

Joevin Jones

Representing the Trinidad and Tobago National Team Jones registered a substitute appearance as a substitute against Nicaragua in 2-1 Concacaf Nations League loss on June 3. Overall, Trinidad and Tobago closed the international window with three wins and a loss in Nations League play.

All five players will now be returning ahead of Inter Miami’s visit to Atlanta United on Sunday, June 19. Catch the action live at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.
