The Herons will go into Sunday’s fixture on a positive note after claiming a 0-2 win on the road against in-state rival Orlando City B this past Tuesday after an extraordinary performance; the MLS NEXT Pro match was played at the site of the Generation adidas Cup at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla, marking a first for the league. The win featured a strike from forward Alejandro Flores to tally the first professional goal of his career and a steller finish from Academy product Bryan Destin.
Huntsville, meanwhile, will enter the match following a 3-4 loss against Columbus Crew 2 in its previous match at Wicks Family Field in Huntsville, Ala.
This will be the first time the Clubs will go head-to-head this season. The sides are scheduled to face again on July 21 at Chase Stadium at 6 p.m. ET.
