Inter Miami CF II (5W-16L-6D, 22 points) will finish up its 2023 MLS NEXT Pro campaign this weekend, when the boys hosts New York City FC II (11W-12L-4D, 38 points) on Sunday, September 24 at DRV PNK Stadium at 2 p.m. ET.
The Herons will go into Sunday’s fixture seeking to end the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro regular season on a positive note following a hard fought 3-3 draw against Atlanta United 2 in the team’s most recent match. The draw featured a brace from midfielder Lawson Sunderland and second professional career goal for Academy product Tyler Hall.
NYCFC II, similarly, will visit DRV PNK Stadium after drawing 3-3 against Toronto FC II at Belson Stadium in its most recent match.
Sunday’s matchup will be the second and last between the sides this regular season as the last time these two teams met, Miami fell against NYCFC II on the road in early August.
