Inter Miami CF II is set to host Philadelphia Union II again this Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m. ET, hosting them at DRV PNK Stadium for the second time this season. The match will air live on mlsnextpro.com.

“It was a good game a couple of weeks ago [against Philadelphia], so it’s still fresh in our minds. It was certainly an entertaining game, but I think you have two very good teams going against each other with different styles of play,” said head coach Darren Powell. “It should be an entertaining game, one we’re looking forward to. Hopefully we get back to the comforts of our own stadium and get back on the winning track.”

Inter Miami II is coming off a narrow 1-0 road loss to New England Revolution II last Sunday. The match, however, saw Andre Zuluaga have another strong game in goal. The goalkeeper saved seven shots on goal in the match and has now saved 11 of the last 12 shots he’s faced, including a penalty in each of the last two matches.

Despite the loss, Inter Miami II still sits third in the Eastern Conference standings with 10 points from six matches.

Inter Miami II last faced off against Philadelphia on April 5, resulting in a thrilling come-from-behind 3-3 draw at DRV PNK Stadium. The match saw second-half substitute and former Philadelphia Union II player Shanyder Borgelin bag a brace, while Romeo Beckham recorded a hat trick of assists. Philadelphia, however, secured the additional point from the shootout.

Philadelphia Union II enters the match coming off of a 2-1 win over NYCFC II last weekend. The team currently sits fifth in the Eastern Conference standings with nine points from five matches.
