Inter Miami CF II (2W-3L-0D, 5 points) is set to play on the road this weekend against Columbus Crew 2 (2W-1L01D, 8 points) on Sunday, April 30. Kick off at the Historic Crew Stadium is set for 5 p.m. ET.
Inter Miami II will be entering the match after claiming its second win of the season by defeating Huntsville City FC 4-3 in a thriller at DRV PNK Stadium in the team’s last game. The victory featured first professional career goals for 17-year-old Academy products Lorenzo D’Agostini and Cesar Abadia-Reda, a first goal of the 2023 season for midfielder Dairon Reyes, and attacker Jake LaCava’s first goal since joining the Club.
Abadia-Reda was subsequently named MLS NEXT Pro Rising Star of the Matchday for Matchday 5 of the 2023 regular season, with the defender being the Club’s first player to earn the honors.
Columbus, meanwhile, comes into the game after falling 1-0 on the road against Crown Legacy FC in the team’s previous matchup. So far in the 2023 regular season, the Crew 2 have only played one home game, a 3-0 win over the New England Revolution II on April 16.
