Second Meeting with Dallas in 2023
Inter Miami’s fixture with Dallas on Sunday will be the second time the two sides meet in 2023. Additionally, the match will be the first for the team to be played on the road in the Leagues Cup.
Winning Run in Leagues Cup
Inter Miami earned its spot in the Round of 16 of the competition after winning both of the team’s group stage fixtures and most recently defeating rivals Orlando City SC 3-1 at DRV PNK Stadium thanks to a brace from Messi and a goal from Josef Martínez in the Round of 32.
Scouting FC Dallas
FC Dallas enters Sunday’s fixture after coming off a 1-2 victory over LIGA MX side Mazatlán F.C. in their respective Round of 32 fixture.
Jesús Ferreira is the main scoring threat to watch out for on FC Dallas. Ferreira has 10 goals along with two assists so far in the 2023 MLS regular, while he has also netted once in Leagues Cup action.
