MATCH PREVIEW: Inter Miami CF to Close Out the Week With Visit to LAFC on Sunday

Inter Miami CF (6W-14L-4D, 22 points) is set to close out a two-match week with a trip to take on LAFC (11W-7L-7D, 40 points) in MLS regular season action this Sunday, Sept. 3. Kick off at BMO Stadium is set for 10 p.m. ET.

Inter Miami extended its current ongoing Club-record winning run to 10 by earning a point and securing a clean sheet in a goalless midweek draw at DRV PNK Stadium against Nashville SC on Wednesday.

MLS Team of the Matchday Honors for Miller

Center back Kamal Miller earned a spot in the MLS Team of the Matchday starting XI for Matchday 29 after having a stellar defensive performance to help the team earn a point and clean sheet on Wednesday night.

Back to Where it All Began

Sunday's matchup will be the first and only one between the sides this 2023 MLS regular season. The fixture will be a special one, as Inter Miami will be returning to where the team began its journey on March 20, 2020 when the Club made its official MLS debut in a road game against LAFC.

Scouting LAFC

The Los Angeles-based side will be hosting Inter Miami after most recently falling 2-1 on the road against Charlotte FC in the team's past match. So far this regular season, LAFC has registered 11 wins, seven losses and seven draws for a total of 40 points and sits second in the Western Conference standings.

Forward Dénis Bouanga has been the team's leader so far this campaign, with 12 goals and six assists to his name.
