The match saw the team deliver an improved performance, with Robbie Robinson netting the team’s goal and earning Heineken Man of the Match Honors due to his stellar performance, while Gonzalo Higuaín registered his second assist of the season.

Ryan Shawcross may face Victor Wanyama again after playing against him for five years in the Premier League and an EFL Cup during his tenure at Stoke City.
