Houston's Second Visit to DRV PNK Stadium

Inter Miami will carry on with the 2022 MLS campaign this weekend when it takes on the Houston Dynamo two weeks after its last matchup, hoping to continue its positive record against the Texas-based side. Inter Miami came out on top in the only previous meeting between the teams, with a 1-0 home victory on Oct. 10, 2020.

Herons Back from International Duty

For Saturday’s fixture, Inter Miami will count with the numerous players that represented the club on the international stage during the current FIFA international window. Midfielder Edison Azcona joined the Dominican Republic on the national team camp, Damion Lowe featured for the full match in the 1-1 draw between Jamaica and El Salvador on March 24 and is available for selection for the Reggae Boyz’ match against Honduras on Wednesday, March 30, Aimé Mabika made his international debut with Zambia in a 3-1 win over Congo on March 25, Jairo Quinteros was subbed on in Bolivia’s match against Colombia on March 24 and played the whole march when the team hosted Brazil on March 29, and DeAndre Yedlin played 90 minutes in the United States’ 0-0 draw against Mexico on March 24 and will be available to face Costa Rica on Wednesday, March 30.

Familiar Faces

The team’s versatile Costa Rican attacker Ariel Lassiter may face his former side on Saturday, as he was a Dynamo player between in 2020 and 2021.

Houston Dynamo enters Saturday’s match coming off of a 1-1 draw at home against the Colorado Rapids. The two-time MLS Cup champions will visit DRV PNK Stadium being led by its top scorers Darwin Quintero and Tyler Pasher, who have two and one goals respectively so far in the 2022 season.
