Inter Miami CF fell 2-3 against Club León tonight in its third and last Phase One matchup to close out its Leagues Cup 2026 Phase campaign. Academy product Daniel Pinter and midfielder Yannick Bright scored the team’s goals tonight at Nu Stadium.

Inter Miami took the field with Rocco Ríos Novo in goal; Ian Fray, Gonzalo Luján, Micael, and Noah Allen formed the back four; Rodrigo De Paul, Bright, Casemiro and Telasco Segovia started in midfield; Pinter and Lovend’s Delinois led the team in attack.

Inter Miami kicked off the match dominating in possession and generating danger in the opponent’s third. The hosts ultimately were able to break the deadlock in the 42nd through Daniel Pinter’s first goal for the Club’s First Team, with the Academy product striking with a first time, left-footed hit from the center to capitalize on a delivery from Fray from the right. Notably, the goal marked the first time in Club history a goal has been scored and assisted by a Homegrown player.
Inter Miami’s lead held through halftime. The visitors then equalized in the 50th minute.
Inter Miami restored its lead shortly after in the 54th minute, when Bright found the back of the net with a left-footed finish from the center of the box following a corner kick.
Club León levelled the scoring again with a goal in the 61st minute, before taking the lead in the 83rd minute.
