MATCH RECAP: Inter Miami CF II Falls On the Road Against Huntsville City FC

Inter Miami CF II (1W-16L-4D, 8 pts) fell on Sunday evening on the road against Huntsville City FC.

Inter Miami II took the pitch with captain Max Ponikarovsky in goal; Theo Vorenkamp, Rondell White, Tyler Hall and Sloan Morrison formed a back four; Ian Urkidi, Matias Acevedo and Joseph Convers started in midfield; Diego Rey and Idoh Zeltzer-Zubida flanked Mateo Saja in attack.  

Match Action

The first half of the match saw an evenly-contested duel for both teams, with Inter Miami II generating a couple of good chances via Vorenkamp and Rey from long distance efforts. Despite the occasion, the team wasn’t able to find the back of the net through the first 45 minutes. 

Late into the second half, Huntsville got into the scoresheet after a counter attack finished by Malachi Molina in the 89th minute. Molina then added his second of the night in the 90’+7 to close out the result.
