Last week, IMCF_Pabs, the club’s eMLS athlete, kicked off the 2022 eMLS campaign with his participation in League Series 1, with 14 matchups between Tuesday, Jan. 11 and Wednesday, Jan. 12. The Venezuelan finished 10th out of 27 with a record of seven wins, one draw and six losses.
Notably, IMCF_Pabs defeated Goalmachine (Toronto FC), who won League Series 1, 3-2 and Pauloneto999 (Atlanta United), who was runner up, 5-2.
What's Next?
IMCFPabs will return to eMLS action with his participation in the League Series 2 qualifiers, which are set to take place on Tuesday, Jan. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 26 starting at 6 p.m. ET. The top eight competitors from the qualifiers will advance to the knockout stages, with the quarterfinals to be played on Saturday, Jan. 29 and the semfinals and finals on Sunday, Jan. 30. If IMCFPabs achieves one of the top eight spots in the League Series 2 qualifiers, those matches will be streamed on the MLS Twitch and Twitter accounts.
The top eleven competitors on the eMLS standings after League Series 1 and League Series 2 will advance to the eMLS Cup, which will take place in Austin, Texas on Sunday, March 13.
