OnSide returns this Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET, featuring two special guests. This week, Inter Miamiâs own weekly show, hosted by Kaylyn Kyle and Andres Cordero, will include interviews with Dr. Brian Arwari, a professor of neurocognitive kinesiology, and Matt Bruderek, Director of Turf & Grounds for the Club.
Arwari, a professor with a PhD in Psychophysiology, Cognitive Psychology and Personality Psychology, came on the show to discuss potential mental effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on players and general player psychology, among other things.
âYou try to be mentally flexible, youâre going to have to adapt to different situations,â said Arwari. âA lot of times energy is spent on resistance to change, but if you can embrace it, even if itâs not the thing you ultimately want, then that gets you somewhere.â
Bruderek, the showâs next guest, joined the hosts for the second installment of its new happy hour segment. He shared what itâs like to be a part of the groundskeeping team and how the intricacies of his work affect the speed of play, among other things, and how the players react to his work.
OnSide will air live in the Inter Miami app on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET and be available following its completion through video on demand both in the app and on Inter Miamiâs website, as well as the Clubâs official YouTube page.
