The Venezuelan striker not only scored an acrobatic scissor kick screamer to tie the match in its final moments, as the goal brought him level with Dwayne De Rosario for the ninth-most goals in MLS history and brought his MLS regular season tally up to 104. Martínez currently is the team's top scorer this season with six goals to his name.
  • Inter Miami signed defender Israel Boatwright and midfielder Lawson Sunderland on short-term agreements from the Club’s MLS NEXT Pro team, Inter Miami CF II, and both players will start the matchup on the bench.
  • The Washington, D.C.- based side hosts Inter Miami after most recently earning a 0-1 win on the road against FC Dallas. So far in the 2023 MLS regular season, D.C. United have registered eight wins, nine losses and five draws for a total of 29 points and sit eighth in the Eastern Conference Standings.
