Career Summary

Midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi became the fifth Academy product to be signed to the First Team upon being signed in December 2022 as a Homegrown Player. Cremaschi joined the Inter Miami CF Academy in 2021, and quickly went to work ascending through the ranks. At the U-17 level in 2022, he was integral in guiding the team to the semifinals of the Generation Adidas Cup, and also earned an MLS NEXT All-Star selection; Cremaschi would go on to score an equalizing goal for the Eastern Conference All-Star team en route to their victory. The Key Biscayne, Florida native also made his professional debut for Inter Miami CF II in the MLS NEXT Pro league in 2022, scoring five goals and registering an assist in 13 appearances.

Before joining Inter Miami, Cremaschi featured for Key Partner Club Weston FC, and during his tenure there helped the U-16 team earn the 2021 MLS NEXT Cup title and claimed the Golden Ball award as the tournament’s best player. Cremaschi has also seen international duty, earning several call-ups to the US U-19 Men’s Youth National Team, U-20 Men’s Youth National team and, most recently, to the Argentina U-20 national team. Notably, he impressed with the U-19 U.S. MYNT at the Slovenia Nations Cup in September 2022; playing a major role by scoring a brace in the win over Croatia and being a key piece of the team as it won the title.

Cremaschi comes from a sporting family; his father, Pablo, played professional rugby on the international level, representing Argentina.
