The eMLS is Major League Soccer’s Professional Esports League and is regarded as the most competitive Esports league in North America. The eMLS calendar consists of three events: League Series 1 (LS1), League Series 2 (LS2) and eMLS Cup. Throughout League Series 1 and League Series 2, every eMLS Athlete will play each other once. An eMLS player who finishes in the top eight of LS1 or LS2 qualifies for a live streamed broadcast on MLS’ Twitch and Twitter Channels. After LS1 and LS2, the cumulative standings from the two events will determine seeding for eMLS Cup. The top 11 players from LS1 and LS2 will automatically qualify for eMLS Cup, while the remaining players will compete for the final spot in the eMLS Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). The eMLS Cup is a single-elimination tournament, except for the Finals which is a two-legged matchup. The top three competitors in eMLS Cup will automatically qualify for the FC Pro World Cup. 

Inter Miami CF joined the eMLS for the 2021 competitive season of FIFA 21. The clubs first eMLS Athlete, IMCF\Pabs, represented the club for two seasons, losing out in the Last Chance Qualifier in FIFA 21 and qualifying for LS2 Broadcast Event and eMLS Cup, losing in the Quarter Finals, in FIFA 22. For FIFA 23, Inter Miami CF signed Canadian DonBorrello to bet the clubs second eMLS Athlete. IMCF\DonBorrello qualified for our first ever League Series LAN event in FIFA 23, beign eliminated in the Last Chance Qualifier.

The 2024 eMLS Season will consist of three events: League Series 1 taking place in January, League Series 2 taking place in February and eMLS Cup taking place in March. The final dates and locations of the events will be announced at a later date.
