Inter Miami CF Academy Remains Victorious in Week 4

Academy Week Four

Academy teams win eight, draw one across all competitions over the weekend 

Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami Academy teams played nine matches over the weekend, winning eight different games while one match ended in a draw. 


U-19

The U-19s traveled to Raleigh, NC, to play against North Carolina FC’s Academy side on Saturday, Oct. 5. Federico Tellez scored Inter Miami’s only goal that ended in a 1-1 draw with North Carolina FC. 


U-17

The U-17s traveled to North Carolina to face off against two local teams. On Saturday, Oct. 5, Inter Miami won 2-1 against North Carolina FC’s U-17 with goals from both Logan Batiste and Alexander Lozano. They then defeated North Carolina Fusion 1-0 with a 21st minute goal from Oliver Pratt. 


U-15

The U-15s also traveled to North Carolina to play against North Carolina FC’s U-15 team and North Carolina Fusion’s U-15s. Inter Miami defeated North Carolina FC 2-1. Israel Boatwright and Juan Hurtado were the club’s goal scorers. Their second match of the weekend was a 3-0 win over North Carolina Fusion in Browns Summit, NC. Pedro Faife, Juan Hurtado, and Alejandro Vigil all scored one goal each.  


U-14

The U-14s defeated the West Florida Flames U-14s 4-2 in Brandon, FL. Juan Quevedo and Nyle Waugh both registered braces. 


U-13

The U-13 team won by a score of 14-1 over the West Florida Flames U-13s in Brandon, FL. The team’s goal scorers were Dylan Bustamante, Justin Ellis (4x), Justin Hylton, Mateo Pereryra (3x), Daniel Pinter, Keshawn Pownall (2x), Vittorio Rivalta, and Cauã Scabin.


U-12 White

The Inter Miami CF U-12 White team defeated the West Florid Flames U12s by a score of 3-0 on Saturday. The goal scorers for the club were Jacob Hines and Guy Meneus (2x).


U-12 Black

The Inter Miami CF U-12 Black team won by a score of 5-4 against the West Florida Flames corresponding academy team. Inter Miami’s goal scorers were Nash Dearmin and Leon Jacobs (4x).
