Called Up: Dairon Reyes Called Up by Cuba

Inter Miami CF II midfielder/forward and Academy product Dairon Reyes has been called up to the Cuban national team for its upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches.

Cuba will play two matches  during the window. First, Cuba will face Barbados on the road on Thursday, March 23, before returning home to Santiago de Cuba on Sunday, March 26 to face Guadalupe.

Reyes, 19, has previously featured for the Cuban national team on a number of occasions, notably representing his country at the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He was a key part of Cuba’s side that made it to the round of 16 of the competition. 

Reyes was first called up to the Cuban senior national team in 2021, debuting in a 5-0 FIFA World Cup qualification win over the British Virgin Islands, coming off the bench to register a goal and an assist in his team’s victory.

Thus far, Reyes has made 12 appearances for his senior national team, tallying one goal and two assists in the process.
