Inter Miami CF defender Damion Lowe has been called up to the Jamaican national team for its upcoming international friendly match against Argentina.

The Reggae Boyz will go up against Argentina on Tuesday, September 27, at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.

The defender has featured for the Jamaican national team in 45 matches across his career. Most recently, he registered three starts for the Jamaican National Team in June’s CONCACAF Nations League fixtures. Lowe played all 90 minutes in each of the three matches and was named captain for two of the matches, both against Suriname.

Lowe has played more than 2,000 minutes in his debut season for Inter Miami CF. The stalwart defender made his debut for Inter Miami in the season opener on Saturday, Feb. 26, starting and playing the entire 90 minutes. Lowe has gone on to earn several honors this season, including being named to the MLS Team of the Week four times.

Lowe will join the national team after Inter Miami’s match against D.C. United on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. ET.
