A total of nine Inter Miami CF players have earned national team call-ups for the upcoming FIFA international window for September and October, representing their countries across senior and youth levels in official competitions or preparation matches.
Here’s a look at the players and their upcoming matches:
Leo Messi and Rodrigo De Paul - Argentina
Captain Leo Messi and midfielder Rodrigo De Paul have been called up by Argentina for a friendly against Benin on Oct. 6. The meeting at Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires, Argentina will serve as Messi’s farewell match as he plays for La Albiceleste one last time.
The legendary attacker will retire from international fútbol holding the record as Argentina’s most capped player (currently 207) and being the team’s all-time leading scorer with 125 goals, while having captained his nation’s side in the conquest of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and Copa América 2021 and 2024 titles.
Germán Berterame - Mexico
Forward Germán Berterame will join the Mexican national team in a series of friendly matches across the United States. Berterame and Mexico will face Colombia on Sept. 26, Peru on Sept. 29, USA on Oct. 3, and finally Chile on Oct. 6. These matches will serve as preparation for Mexico’s upcoming participation in the Concacaf Nations League.
Dayne St. Clair - Canada
Goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair earned a call up for Canada after previously featuring in the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™. Now, St. Clair and Canada will face Chile on Sept. 26, Peru on Oct. 3, and USA on Oct. 6 in preparation for their participation in the 2026/2027 Concacaf Nations League.
Matías Galarza - Paraguay
Another player that featured at the FIFA World Cup, midfielder Matías Galarza joins the Paraguayan national team for two friendly matches. La Albirroja will face Bolivia on Sept. 27 and Colombia on Oct. 2. This marks Galarza’s first international call up as an Inter Miami player.
Fricio Caicedo - Ecuador
Defender Fricio Caicedo has earned his second call up to the Ecuadorian national team, and his first one since joining the Club. Caicedo and Ecuador will travel to Asia to play friendlies against South Korea on Sept. 24 and Japan on Oct. 1.
Lovend’s Delinois - Haiti
The attacker earns his first call up for Haiti as the Les Grenadiers will compete in the Nations League A Group Stage in the 2026/2027 Concacaf Nations League.
Lovend’s Delinois and Haiti were drawn into Group A, and will be facing Trinidad and Tobago on Sept. 24, Costa Rica on Sept. 27, the Dominican Republic on Oct. 1, and Costa Rica on Oct. 4.
Daniel Pinter - U.S. U-20
The Academy graduate will join the United States U-20 national team for a series of friendlies in San Pedro del Pinatar, Murcia. Daniel Pinter and USA will be facing Brazil on Oct. 1, followed by taking on Denmark on Oct. 4.
Alexander Shaw - U.S. U-19
After featuring in the Concacaf U-20 Championship over the summer, midfielder Alexander Shaw will be heading to Marbella, Spain with the U.S. U-19 national team for friendlies against Wales on Sept. 29, England on Oct. 2, and Norway on Oct. 5.
