MIAMI, Fla. (June 30, 2020) - Inter Miami CF is set to premiere the Inside Inter Miami docuseries tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1, which encompasses the Club’s unique journey through never-before-seen footage of the months leading up to the long-awaited Major League Soccer (MLS) debut and beyond.
Early access viewing for the docuseries will air live on the Inter Miami App at 8 p.m. ET, ahead of the team’s participation in the MLS is Back Tournament set to kickoff on July 8.

Following Wednesday’s app-exclusive release, the docuseries will be available on the Club’s official Facebook and YouTube channels on Thursday, July 2.
Inside Inter Miami will provide an intimate look at Inter Miami’s journey through its infancy, featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the iconic moments throughout the building of the roster, stadium, facilities, Academy and more, all the way through the Club’s first official MLS matches and the subsequent suspension of league play.
“It shows the Club since its beginnings, from its roots and that’s something that will last forever, something we’ll remember endlessly,” said head coach Diego Alonso. “Having a documentary of this magnitude for the Club and its fans is invaluable.”
“This film gives our fans and supporters an opportunity to go behind the scenes and see what was required to make our historic first season at Inter Miami happen,” added Inter Miami captain and goalkeeper Luis Robles.
“It does an amazing job of summing up the early parts of this Inter Miami CF project: Where we started back in December, the growth of the group throughout preseason and into the first two games of the season and on top of that, stepping into this trial of quarantine through COVID-19 and how we’re adjusting and finding our feet through that as well,” explained midfielder Wil Trapp. “It’s an amazing insight into the Club, into the locker room, seeing the players, the passion, and overall idea that makes up this Club and where we are now and where we want to be.”
With the relaunch of the league looming, the docuseries provides an opportunity to relive these special moments with fans, players, coaches and media who were part of the journey that saw the return of top-flight professional fútbol to South Florida.
The team will head to Orlando to enter the MLS is Back Tournament bubble tomorrow, kicking off the next chapter in Inter Miami’s history. The team will open the tournament with a nationally televised matchup with host-team Orlando City SC on July 8 at 8 p.m. ET, exactly one week after the launch of the Inside Inter Miami docuseries.
