Inter Miami earned a valuable 2-3 win on the road last Saturday night against CF Montréal to extend the team’s unbeaten run to seven, and winning streak to five. The team was led to victory by a fantastic free kick strike from midfielder MatÃas Rojas and goals by Luis Suárez and Benjamin Cremaschi.
Notably, Cremaschi made his first start of the season, while defender Sergii Kryvtsov started in what was his first action since recovering from an injury suffered on the road game against the New York Red Bulls on March 23. Midfielder Rojas was named to the Team of the Matchday for Matchday 13 of the 2024 MLS regular season. Inter Miami is currently on the team's longest winning run in MLS in Club history with five wins in a row (second longest winning run in Club history behind the nine games won across all competitions from July 21 to Aug. 26 2023). The team's current three-match winning run on the road is also the longest winning streak on the road in Club history.
Additionally, Inter Miami will visit Orlando currently unbeaten in its last seven regular season games, The team's current streak in the 2024 MLS regular season is the second longest unbeaten streak in Club history behind the 12 game unbeaten run across all competitions from July 21 to Sept. 9 in 2023.

Inter Miami (8W-2L-3D) will enter the weekend's matchup against Orlando City SC first in the Supporters' Shield Standings with 27 points (three points ahead of second place) and leading the league in goals with a total 35 goals (12 more than the next team).
Striker Luis Suárez leads the team in goals this regular season with 11 and is tied for first place among the league top scorers. Captain Lionel Messi, meanwhile, leads the team and the league in assists this regular season with 12.

Florida Rivalry
Saturday's matchup will present the second edition of the Florida Rivalry this 2024 regular season and the 15th overall matchup between the sides across all competitions. Inter Miami has a record of five wins, six losses and three draws thus far against Orlando. Last time out, Inter Miami earned an emphatic 5-0 win at Chase Stadium on March 2 in MLS regular season action.
Notably, the 5-0 win over Orlando in the past game between the sides is the largest margin of victory in Club history.
Familiar Faces
Wednesday's match may present reunions for members of both sides. Inter Miami players Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Messi and Suárez may once again face Orlando City SC forward Luis Muriel, who they faced multiple times in Spain during their stints as FC Barcelona players while Muriel was in the ranks at Sevilla FC. Messi and Suárez previously faced the Colombian striker on the international level as well.
