Up Next: Back Home to Host Sporting Kansas City

The home festivities return as Inter Miami CF continues on with its 2023 MLS campaign at DRV PNK Stadium, as the team gets ready to host Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, September 9. In addition to Saturday’s matchday 31 fixture, the Club will feature one of its annual Theme Night matches at DRV PNK Stadium with Inter Miami CF participating in a League-wide effort to Kick Childhood Cancer and helping spread awareness for childhood cancer research.

Let’s dive into the team’s schedule for the week below:

Monday to Tuesday - Off

On Monday and Tuesday, the boys got a well-deserved two-day rest following Sunday’s win against LAFC.

Wednesday to Friday - Training

The team will kick off its preparations for the week with daily training sessions from Wednesday to Friday.

Wednesday - Leaders Line: Martino and Player TBD

Before Wednesday’s training session at the Florida Blue Training Center, Inter Miami’s head coach Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino and a player will address the media and preview Saturday’s home fixture against Sporting Kansas City. Thursday to Sunday - International Duty fixtures

A total of eight Inter Miami players will be representing the Club on the international stage this week:

  • Robert Taylor and Finland will take on Kazakhstan for a UEFA Euro qualifying matchup on Thursday, September 7 at Astana Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan at 10 a.m ET.
  • Josef Martínez and Venezuela will face off against Colombia for a FIFA World Cup qualifying matchup on Thursday, September 7 at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla, Colombia at 6 p.m. ET.
  • Diego Gómez and Paraguay will host Peru for a FIFA World Cup qualifying matchup on Thursday, September 7 at the Estadio Antonio Aranda in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay at 6:30 p.m. ET.
  • Lionel Messi and Argentina will host Ecuador for a FIFA World Cup qualifying matchup on Thursday, September 7 at Estadio Monumental at 8 p.m. ET.
  • Edison Azcona and Dominican Republic will face off against Nicaragua for a CONCACAF Nations League matchup on Friday, September 8 at the Estadio Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at 7 p.m. ET.
  • David Ruiz and Honduras will take on Jamaica on the road for a CONCACAF Nations League matchup on Friday, September 8 at National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica at 9 p.m. ET.
  • Sergii Kryvtsov and Ukraine will face England for a UEFA Euro qualifying matchup on Saturday, September 9 at Stadion Miejski WrocÅ‚aw in WrocÅ‚aw, Poland at 12 p.m. ET.
  • Benjamin Cremaschi and the USMNT will host Uzbekistan for a friendly matchup on Saturday, September 9 at City Park in St. Louis, Missouri at 5:30 p.m. ET.
  • Robert Taylor and Finland will take on Denmark for a UEFA Euro qualifying matchup on Sunday, September 10 at Helsinki Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland at 12 a.m ET.

Saturday - Inter Miami CF vs. Sporting Kansas City | DRV PNK Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET

Following a stellar 1-3 display against reigning champions LAFC, Inter Miami will now take on Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, September 9, for its first and only meeting this 2023 MLS regular season. The matchup is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET at DRV PNK Stadium. Click HERE for tickets!

Additionally, the match will also feature another of the Club’s highly-anticipated Theme Night matches at DRV PNK Stadium, hosting Kick Childhood Cancer presented by Inter Miami CF Foundation. Sunday - Inter Miami CF II vs. FC Cincinnati 2 | DRV PNK Stadium at 6 p.m. ET
