Following the team’s exciting season opener at DRV PNK Stadium, here is this week’s schedule for the squad as they prepare to visit Austin FC on Sunday for the first time in history.
Monday - Off
Inter Miami players took Monday, Feb. 28 to rest and recover ahead of a long week of preparations ahead of Sunday’s match.
Tuesday - Training
The team will return to the Inter Miami CF Training Center on Tuesday, March 1 to begin preparations for its first away match of the 2022 season.
Wednesday - Heron Talk: Head Coach Phil Neville, Attacker Robert Taylor
After training on Wednesday, March 2, head coach Phil Neville and attacker Robert Taylor will address members of the media to preview the upcoming match at around 12 p.m. ET. Follow their comments on the club’s digital channels.
Thursday - Off
The squad will take a day of rest on Thursday, March 3 to recover from two days of intense training.
Friday - Heron Talk: Jairo Quinteros and DeAndre Yedlin
Following the training session on Friday, March 4, defenders Jairo Quinteros and DeAndre Yedlin will address media members. Follow Inter Miami’s digital channels to catch their comments.
Saturday - Train and Travel to Austin
The squad will have one final training session in South Florida on Saturday, March 5 before heading to Texas. This will be the first time in history that both sides meet.
Sunday - Austin FC vs. Inter Miami CF
Inter Miami will take on Austin FC on Sunday, March 6 at 4 p.m. ET at Q2 Stadium. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
